I really love your yoga style and watch your videos often. Thank you for
all your hard work!
I am not saying man should not become vegan or work yoga, but I for a fact
know that it is not necessary for solving the problem of heartburn and acid
reflux. I have fixed the problem by adopting some simple rules:
-no eating after 8 PM
-avoid snacks
-no onions and garlic (row or baked), except in marinade,
-no large portions
-avoid cheap salamis
-fruit and sweets (sugars in generally) only before breakfast and lunch, or
between meals.
-after eating no deserts or fruit of any kind. Especially after dinner.
-vegetables always with (olive) oil
-during or after eating no alcohol of any kind, and no coca cola or any of
that stuff. Mineral or normal water is OK.
-I avoided strong alcohols and vine, bear yes but only in the evening 2-3
hours after dinner.
-avoid greasy meals
-careful with tomato and beans. Do not avoid it, but observe how your body
reacts to it.
-meat worked fine for me, especially chicken
-kamillie tea or mint tea when you fell problems
Adriene, you are lovely. Just got a preliminary LPR/GERD diagnosis, so this
is amazing to see that you can know what some of us are going through! I
can’t wait to start practicing all your GERD Yoga series. I don’t have
heart burn, I get the throat hoarseness and night time breathing spasms.

registered nurse who is 9 years cured now of LPR. Blessing to you!
I have two bad knees since having a job where I lifted heavy stuff for 30
yrs been Dx with LPR Gerd and cant do much of this.. any chance doing one
with folks with bad knees? thanks

I love yoga, but yoga is not the cure for heartburn or acid reflux. To
cure these you have to adopt the vegan diet (no meat, no dairy). Meat and
dairy are acid-forming foods. They cause inflammation within your body. I
made a youtube video to summarize my thoughts on this: “Yoga, Heartburn,
and the Vegan Miracle!”

uncomfortable. It really helped! Thank you so much. Have you posted any
other videos for poses that will help with GERD?
Some good natural remedies: Aloe vera, chamomile and slippery elm tea (
not so hot). Honey and alcohol free propolis.
