I am 17 years old, male, and I used to smoke a pack and a half a day for
the last year and a half. I tried quitting a lot of times, all failed, but
this is different. This is one of the most powerful experiences I’ve had in
my life. When you asked why I decided to make myself sick I couldn’t hold
it and I started crying. I haven’t cried since my grandfather died two
years ago from lung cancer, 40 years after quitting smoking. This cannot go
on. I broke the last two cigarettes in my pack, and threw them at the
trash. I am more confident about this than I’ve ever been before in my
life, and I know I am not going to start again this time. I know I am not a
smoker anymore. I will not allow myself to be one. I want to thank you with
all of my heart. I owe you at least a decade of life. I will not destroy
myself.
Update: I have smoked for most of my life, had quit before here and there
with much trouble and discomfort to say the least, this time was much
different, I do not have the urge to smoke, and whats more I do not like to
be around others while they are smoking. I am happy that I am finally done
with them. I am now in my 50′s and have smoked long enough to see (and
feel) some of the damage it has done to my body. I have since seen an
improvement in my complexion, and overall feel tons better than I did, and
hope I will continue to feel better as time goes on. I selected this vid
simply because it was the only one that I found relaxing, while others were
just irritating for me to listen to. I quit because I want a better life
than one where I am continuously poisoning myself. When you get older you
can feel the damage that cigarettes are doing to you, and especially so
when you are an active type person like I am. It’s like running a marathon
while carrying a heavy rock, I’m done with that!
I just stumbled upon this and wasn’t even really planning to become a
non-smoker. But now I am. I have booked marked this simply so I can redo
for the peace from the meditation alone. Thank you for a beautiful gift. I
wish you big servings of positive energy and good karma.
I listen to this almost every other night …helps reinforce the bliss of
being a non smoker…I also read Allen Carr’s books EASYWAY and ONLYWAY
…good philosophy and changing your state of mind and perception of the

I am a non smoker!! As of today I’ve quit! I will be back every day
listening to this. I’ll keep u posted on how my progress goes. Thankyou!
I have never asked myself… why have I been making myself sick? I started
because my parents turned out to be less good people than I thought they
were when I was 18. I had always been a goody two shoes. I had always felt
pressured to be perfect and I had always felt like a boring person (mom had
sure made me feel like a loser) and so one day I decided I was going to
hurt myself to show them they were hurting me. It’s pathetic, but it was a
conscious decision. I ended up enjoying being bad. I’d never been bad. I’ve
never done anything bad or wrong or destructive. I enjoyed having my corner
of darkness and silence where I could separate myself from the crowd and I
enjoyed being interesting. I felt more interesting and edgy. I felt more
like my inside was coming to the outside. I guess I need a new outlet for
the fact that I find myself so utterly uninteresting.
I hear children playing in the background :D

Just listened before bed, and other meditations… big huge thank you, very
well done.. and I woke up from it laughing, because I read the comments
before trying, and a girl said she almost crapped herself at the end, and I
thought of her comment when the mans voice woke me up. Oh this is good
stuff. I hate smoking cigarettes, it has been hard to stay off of them
long, and I feel so ill when I use tobacco… first time tried was 8 im
almost 25… cant even explain on here the pain cigarettes cause. I already
feel the confidence, definitely a mindset change from this.

Well,I gave this meditation a try and I am in amazement! I am 48 smoking
since I was 15.I will say I will be recommending this to everyone who wants
to quit smoking!This is my experience since I listened to the meditation,I
sat on the computer,drank my tea,I had no urge for a smoke,I found this to
be to good to be true,lol! What I decided was I will have a smoke,lol,I
didnt know how to hold it right,I was smoking it for close to 4
minutes,when it would take 2,it was so weird!!! Havent had another one and
no urge to have one.Quite impressed!!Let you know how I do later down the
road!!Thank you so much!
Using both this and Allen Carr’s book has helped me to kick a 9 year habit.
